Artist's Description
This American Woodcock (Scolopax Minor) was first searched then find (by its nose) then pointed by my pointing dog indicating me there is a bird American Woodcock or Ruffed Grouse somewhere in front of him, then I did the photo at the in-flight.
A pointing dog it is a hinting dog, a woodcock it is a hunting bird game, when I take my camera instead of the shotgun, for me it is the same as hunting, my goal being to can catch this bird or the Ruffed Grouse in photo in-flight in their woody habitat, and this kind of photos are not easy to succeed, the most important being to put the bird on focus that passes through the trees and branches.
