Sky Dancer it is one of the nicknames of the American Woodcock, in spring days at dusk the American Woodcock male do a courtship flight like a air dancing with a sounds of tutututuututut, and it is from there that comes the nickname of Sky Dancer.

The American Woodcock it is a migratory game bird, it comes here in province of Québec, Canada, around mid-March, and starting the first 2 weeks of November it goes back to the South of the USA. This American Woodcock photo was taken last week. Bon Voyage to the South, Sky Dancer.
