This photo of American Woodcock chicks was taken in spring 2019, in this photo they are camouflaged with their habitat 3 American Woodcock chicks that were banded by my friend who is a Woodcock bander.
Since the spring of 2008 that I participate in these activities of the banding of the American Woodcock with my friend so my eyes have been since for ten years accustomed to spot the woodcock chicks superbly camouflaged with their habitat.
Of course you need pointing dogs to can find Woodcock broods in the forest ground.
